  We've been coming here for about 13 years now, since we moved into the neighbourhood. The food is good, the restaurant is family friendly and the daily special for eat-in only is always popular with our family. The eating area for customers is always clean. We've never had a dirty dish, cup or glass. Cutlery might have a water spot or two, but what restaurant doesn't these days. I would have given Tong's Wok a 5 star rating but I couldn't see into the kitchen so I have no idea how it is set up or how clean it is. I'm sure it's fine based on the food and the table service. But I just couldn't see into the kitchen in order to form an opinion. The food is good here. The eating area is clean and the service is fast and friendly. You must try this place. Excellent value for your hard-earned money.

  Absolutely awful!! We ordered Dinner for 4A, and everything was flavourless. The chicken chow mein was much too mushy, the batter on the chicken balls and shrimp was raw on the inside and burnt on the outside. You had to search for the pieces of meat. The rice had no flavour, either. The spring rolls we're immensely disappointing, and the wonton soup tasted soapy. The only thing worth eating was the steamed rice. All the rest had to be thrown away because it was simply inedible. It was something Id expect to see out of a complete amateur. The only positive thing about this experience is that delivery was very quick. Tldr; awful experience, will not be buying again.

  • I was honestly going to provide a poor review but they already have plenty on here • My parents took me to Tong’s Wok many times when I was a kid (15+ yrs ago) • Food is good and the PROBLEM I had this afternoon was resolved • No business is perfect & Tong’s Wok has been in Saskatoon’s North End for a very long time (so they must be doing something right) • But if you’re the owner reading this review, it’s your front line staff that will make or break you regardless of price or flavour. • The mis-understanding today was made by a male staff member (& he didn’t seem to care) • Your female staff member stepped up to resolved the issue • Kudos to her, because our family will most likely continue our patronage • If you’re the male staffer working today and you currently own Tong’s Wok, I wish you all the best in the future
