  Terrible! I never write reviews, but I have to write this one. I used to be a regular here, they had the best lasagna in the city. I ordered it for lunch and what I got was almost unpalatable. I ate about a third of it. When asked if everything was good, I explained it to the waiter. The response was "Things change". He took my money and I went away hungry and feeling ripped off. I will never go back.

  Absolutely fantastic! We're visiting Saskatoon on business and celebrated our anniversary last night at this lovely restaurant. Food was amazing - authentic Italian. Service by the fun and lively Luigi was equally amazing. He designed our whole dinner for us, including wine. What a special evening! *Note - they will be closed for the whole month of July, 2017 for full renovations.*

  The food was amazing, the atmosphere was very relaxing and welcoming. The staff were amazingly open and welcoming made me feel like I went to someone's home for a meal. Then the food. Oh my goodness the food! I had the Fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken. It was the perfect amount to of sauce to coat the pasta and chicken, the noodles tasted amazing and the flavour of it all was very wholesome. The perfect combination of smooth creamy sauce with a hint of sharp cheese flavour. I will definitely be coming again!

  Went for lunch here, started with bruschetta, excellent fresh tomato, garlic and basil on lightly toasted Italian bread. Then for the main course was chicken parmesan with gnocchi in a creamy white wine and tomato sauce. Delicious. The server was friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. If you like authentic Italian food you'll love Taverna.
