  Grounds for a libel/slander suit. While working there I had witnessed spoiled meat being mixed to make cold cuts and hot dogs. Green liver being mixed as well. Dirty union. Drug dealers and gang members all over. Drug use in the cafeteria. Violence in the work areas. Racism was commonplace. Posted on a job, denied the posting. Did the work for two dollars an hour less than what I was supposed to make. Trained my own replacements. My vehicle was vandalized by a foreman and again by someone else that I had never caught. The second time had caused damge that I had to pay for. Mistreatment by union lead hands. One in particular had been quite harsh. No help from the union on this after I had tried to file a grievance, they refused to keep a record of it, I was told to "suck it up". All in all I found the experience helpful in that I have a deep seated feeling of relief, that still makes me smile to this day, after having left.
